Why YouthWAVE Exists
YouthWAVE exists to prepare Church of Christ High School ministries to care for and share Christ with their friends.
YouthWAVE is committed to:
1. Equipping students through training, modeling and relevant experiences that help them minister to both believing and non-believing friends.
2. Provide an environment for peer care and peer evangelism.
3. Equip and encourage Group Coordinators as shepherds-providing them with a network of ministry partners, healthy models for ministry, training tools and support.
4. Inspire students with a vision for the impact God can make through them as fully devoted followers of Christ.

Who should come to YouthWAVE?
YouthWAVE is for High School students who are serious about sharing their faith with their friends and are ready for an intense week of theological, personal and ministry training that will stretch and challenge them. It is for students characterized as following "AFTR" Christ:
1. Available - students who clearly prioritize God and your church.
2. Faithfulness to God and a strong desire to grow in their faith.
3. Teachable spirit - they love to learn & serve.
4. Responsiveness to ministry leadership and other peoples needs.
WARNING: This event is NOT for your entire youth group. If you have doubts about whether or not a student should come, they probably shouldn't. Students who do not want to be at YouthWAVE will hurt the environment that you want to nurture with your emerging ministry leaders.)
